Do you rate a post when you feel like giving it 1, 2 or 3 stars?
I don't.
I feel like I may not like the post but it don't mean that it is bad.
And I would not like to say to someone "Your post is not good".
But to give a 4 or 5 stars... yes.

I think I take the rating system as an extra quick reply, when I want to say "Wow... good!"
